| | | | | | | | Purpose and Scope of Project: | Attached to this memo is a recreational easement between the City of Mobile and The Mobile Infirmary Association to provide future access to the Three Mile Creek Greenway Trail. The associated recreational easement will allow the City to construct a portion of the trail connecting Tricentennial Park to the trailhead, where Dr. Martin Luther King Avenue intersects Three Mile Creek. The Mobile Greenway continues to evolve our transportation infrastructure and is a part of a larger vision to transform the City of Mobile into a more connected and livable community. The objectives of this project are to increase walkability and enhance both biking and pedestrian safety by connecting residential areas and citizens to the surrounding parks, schools, churches, and commercial areas. This easement continues the current efforts of constructing this ADA compliant biking and pedestrian path along Three Mile Creek. |
